Auric Mining (ASX:AWJ) received firm commitments to raise AU$6.7 million through the issue of 37 million shares at AU$0.18 apiece, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Proceeds will be used for the purchase of the Burbanks facility and the acquisition of the Lindsay's project, including the Parrot Feathers gold mine, in Western Australia, the filing said.
QA Capital was the lead manager and sole bookrunner for the placement.
Shares rose 11% in midday trade Friday.
