智通财经APP获悉，据知情人士透露，摩托罗拉解决方案(MSI.US)正就以约45亿美元收购无线通信设备制造商Silvus Technologies进行深入谈判。双方可能在未来数周内宣布交易。
知情人士表示，目前尚未达成最终协议，谈判仍存在破裂可能。
媒体今年1月曾报道，由TJC控股的Silvus一直在探索包括出售或首次公开募股在内的战略选项。TJC前身为The Jordan Co.，专注于中型市场交易。
数据显示，这将成为摩托罗拉史上第二大收购案，仅次于1999年以95亿美元收购Arris Technology Inc.的交易。过去十年间摩托罗拉完成约40笔收购，但多为中小型交易，仅有两笔超过10亿美元。
Silvus专为军事和执法机构设计制造适用于极端环境的无线通信设备及系统。在全球地缘政治紧张和地区冲突持续的背景下，其高安全性通信设备需求旺盛。
这家总部位于芝加哥的企业曾以手机和寻呼机闻名，现已转型为政企客户提供高科技安防产品，包括消防员专用对讲机、警用随身摄像头，以及紧急情况下的邮件短信预警系统。
摩托罗拉董事长兼首席执行官格雷格·布朗去年11月接受采访时明确表示：“并购将在公司未来发展中扮演关键角色。”
