即便最新数据显示英国4月零售销售增幅超出预期，英镑汇率仍维持窄幅波动。受温暖天气提振，英国4月零售销售环比增长1.2%，高于分析师预期的0.3%，且逆转了3月下修后的0.1%增幅。

　　Ebury分析师Phil Monkhouse指出，尽管数据表现积极，但4月通胀高于预期可能令英国央行在未来数月内对再次降息“按兵不动”。

　　数据公布后，英镑兑美元微涨0.3%至1.3453美元，基本与数据公布前持平；欧元兑英镑汇率上涨0.1%至0.8414英镑，同样接近数据发布前水平。
