"Perishables remain the strongest driver of our growth as more and more members make us their weekly destination for produce, dairy and meat," says CEO Robert Eddy on an earnings call. He notes that the Marlborough, Mass., warehouse club's perishables, grocery and sundries division delivered more than 4% comp growth in 1Q, with unit volumes increasing across all three divisions.
