星展银行高级经济学家蔡汉廷在一份报告中指出，新加坡核心通胀率在今年剩余时间内可能保持温和态势。这反映出该行对进口通胀可控及企业成本向消费端转嫁效应减弱的预期。

　　数据显示，4月份核心消费价格指数（CPI）同比上涨0.7%，较3月的0.5%增幅有所加速。蔡汉廷认为通胀存在下行风险，这与新加坡金融管理局（MAS）仍偏鸽派的立场一致。

　　他补充称，全球贸易放缓可能冲击新加坡这一外向型经济体，削弱国内劳动力需求及薪资增长动力。
