五矿资源上月公布，今年第一季铜总产量达11.82万吨，较去年同期增长76%。公告称，公司对今年的产量及成本指导保持不变。Las Bambas矿山第一季稳定营运、铜和锌的加工费降低，以及贵金属价格上涨等有利因素，有望推动矿山财报提升。公司正在评估修改产量指导的可能性，以反映该些积极变化。
民生证券指出，五矿资源在南美秘鲁的旗舰矿山Las Bambas 是公司最重要的资产；Las Bambas 产量和成本下降幅度有望超预期，同时考虑到利息支出减少，预计公司整体业绩有望超预期。该行指出，秘鲁矿山开发最大的也是最普遍的问题就是当地的社区问题。市场低估了公司社区问题的解决能力。与同行业公司相比，公司估值低，弹性大。
