Energy minerals shares gained the most on the New Zealand Exchange, rising nearly 4% by midday Friday.
Channel Infrastructure NZ (NZE:CHI) shares rose almost 5% in recent trade after the company said it expects 2025 dividend in the lower end of the policy range of NZ$0.12 to NZ$0.125, up from NZ$0.11 in 2024.
On the other hand, consumer durables shares fell nearly 2%.
KMD Brands (NZE:KMD, ASX:KMD) drove the decline, with shares dropping almost 2%.
