1011 GMT - EasyJet appears well-positioned amid strong U.K. travel demand and short-haul capacity constraints, RBC Capital Markets analysts Ruairi Cullinane and Jakub Glinkowski say in a note. The company said that bookings were supportive of achieving a company-compiled consensus for headline pretax profit of 703 million pounds for the fiscal year, and this is while the key peak summer bookings period remains ahead. Bookings for the third quarter are 80% sold, while fourth-quarter bookings were 42% sold, the company said. The analysts say, however, that despite easyJet's performance, they see more upside elsewhere in the sector, adding that the company's shares trade at a premium to most peers. Shares trade down 4.4% at 539.8 pence. (pierre.bertrand@wsj.com)
