Delta Air Lines Inc. is expanding its transatlantic services with the introduction of a new nonstop route from New York's JFK Airport to Catania, Sicily, starting May 21, 2025. This marks Delta's first-ever flight from Sicily and establishes the only direct connection between Catania and the U.S. The route will be operated with a 216-seat Boeing 767-300, featuring Delta's enhanced onboard experiences, including the new Delta One collection with Missoni bedding and amenity kits. The expansion increases Delta's Italy-U.S. offerings by 15% from the previous year, solidifying its position as the leading U.S. airline in the Italian market. Passengers can enjoy fast, free Wi-Fi, over 1,000 hours of entertainment, and curated food and beverages across all cabins, while Delta One customers will also have access to the Delta One Lounge at JFK.
