美东时间周三早间，菲利普斯66（NYSE：PSX）股价下跌6.8%，此前激进投资机构Elliott Investment Management披露已斥资10亿美元入股这家炼油企业，并谋求董事会席位。
据Elliott周三发布的公开信及声明，这家知名激进对冲基金正寻求在菲利普斯66（PSX）董事会获得两个席位。Elliott认为该公司股价较当前水平有约75%的上涨空间。
“我们认为董事会必须采取多项措施，向投资者证明菲利普斯66已处于实现价值创造潜力的最佳位置，”Elliott在声明中表示。
菲利普斯66（PSX）周三晚间发布声明称，过去数周已与Elliott进行磋商，计划继续保持“建设性对话”。
