Retractable Technologies, Inc. has announced the settlement of its litigation against Locke Lord LLP and other parties. The lawsuit, filed in the 44th District Court of Dallas County, Texas, involved claims related to the company's legal representation in a previous case against Becton, Dickinson and Company. As part of the settlement, Retractable Technologies will receive $1.9 million and will dismiss all claims with prejudice. Both parties have agreed to exchange mutual releases, and neither side has admitted to any liability or damages.
