据知情人士透露，芝加哥商品交易所（CME）已与香港当局商谈将该地纳入其铝合约实物交割网络。CME的竞争对手伦敦金属交易所（LME）上月批准在香港的首批四个金属仓储设施。

　　CME的发言人拒绝置评。

　　交易所仓储网络近年来是市场上一些最大规模交易的核心，卖方可在此交付金属，买方则通过持有期货合约到期后接收金属。

　　在香港储存金属颇具挑战性，部分原因是缺乏存放大量库存的空间，而且与马来西亚巴生港或新加坡等其他交割点相比成本更高。
