消息面上，腾讯发布全员信，宣布对微信事业群组织架构进行调整：成立电商产品部，负责微信内交易模式的探索，加速发展交易基建及交易生态，运营微信交易新模式。第一上海指出，微信电商发展历经长期探索，此次成立独立部门，标志其从“功能试水”升级为“战略业务”，更好协调微信内的生态资源协同微信小店发展。
根据微盟集团此前财报显示，该公司已为超70%的微信视频号年度达人提供营销服务，在单场GMV破2,000万人民币的达人直播中，约60%场次均有微盟深度参与。此外，微盟还于1月9日正式推出“微盟X微信小店”五大解决方案，旨在帮助商家在微信小店生态中实现高效整合与业务增长。
