当地时间5月19日，法国参议院调查委员会公布了一项针对“巴黎水”矿泉水产品丑闻的调查报告。
报告显示，“巴黎水”的生产商——瑞士雀巢公司存在消费者欺诈行为，其位于法国的部分矿泉水工厂存在非法水处理行为。
2024年初，法国媒体曝光了有关雀巢公司的矿泉水产品“巴黎水”的丑闻，称该品牌在法国的水厂，在水源受污染后，以紫外线、活性炭等原用于自来水的消毒工艺对其进行非法处理，产品既不符合“天然矿泉水”标准，也存在健康风险。
法国参议院于2024年底成立专项委员会对此展开调查，并于本月19日公布了调查报告。
报告说，雀巢公司相关部门2020年就发现其位于法国的部分矿泉水工厂存在非法水处理行为，2021年开始接触法国政府有关部门，并提出改造计划，包括对部分“维护较好”水井的水使用精细微滤技术消毒，以生产带有“天然矿泉水”标签的产品；对部分“老化严重”的水井进行改造，转为生产不带“天然矿泉水”标签的饮用水。
欧洲法律规定，天然矿泉水不得进行任何可能改变其特性的消毒或处理。而对于雀巢公司的非法消毒行为，法国政府有关部门并未采取相应行动，甚至在2023年修改法规放宽相关标准。
报告指出，法国政府有关部门监管不力甚至涉嫌蓄意包庇企业，包括帮助掩盖水源污染情况、放宽矿泉水处理标准等。
