Fortescue (ASX:FMG) said it is expecting shipments from its Iron Bridge magnetite operation in Western Australia to be between 10 million and 12 million tonnes in fiscal 2026, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company also anticipates an annualized production rate of 16 million to 20 million tonnes in the second half of fiscal 2027, the filing said.
The facility aims to achieve its nameplate capacity of 22 million tonnes per annum by fiscal 2028, with further process optimization expected.
Iron Bridge is a joint venture between the company's FMG Magnetite subsidiary and Formosa Steel IB, per the filing.
