Wesfarmers boss Rob Scott targets growth in Kmart’s Anko brand

Wesfarmers chief executive Rob Scott sees growth potential from new formats within the business, including opening more Anko-branded stores overseas, which will help to offset sluggish consumer demand.

The Perth-based group owns several major retailers, including Bunnings, Target, and Officeworks, as well as lithium mines. Its discount retailer Kmart is the second-largest earnings generator for the group after hardware chain Bunnings.
