BlockBeats 消息，5 月 23 日，《华尔街日报》援引知情人士报道，特朗普的中东特使史蒂夫·维特科夫（Steve Witkoff）在特朗普就职的一个月前就已飞往阿联酋商讨地域问题，并参与了一场加密主题会议。
Steve Witkoff 之子、World Liberty Financial 创始人 Zach Witkoff 在向加密货币公司推介时，会将特朗普比作“教父”，并称 WLFI 将能充分利用美国日益变化的加密货币监管政策。Zach Witkoff 曾在巴基斯坦会见了多名政府高层人士——几周后，这些官员与特朗普政府就印巴停火协议进行了谈判。Zach Witkoff 向他们提出，WLFI 可利用区块链技术将该国稀土矿产的买卖“代币化”。
而帮助 WLFI 牵线部分海外行程的是 Binance 创始人 CZ。WLFI 发言人对此表示，CZ 只是 Zach Witkoff 的朋友，但并非“中间人”。
此外，WLFI 团队还与海湾地区其他企业商讨过代币购买事宜，暗示此类交易可能助益它们在美的扩张计划。但公司发言人否认这一说法。
