路透5月22日 - 据华尔街日报周四报导，多家美国大型银行正在研究是否合作发行联合稳定币。
报导援引知情人士的话说，目前为止相关讨论涉及了摩根大通JPM.N、美国银行BAC.N、花旗集团C.N、富国银行WFC.N和其他大型商业银行的关联企业。
不过，该报称，该银行财团的讨论还处于早期概念阶段，可能会发生变化。
路透无法立即证实该报导。这些银行周四晚些时候没有回应路透的置评请求。
稳定币是一种旨在保持恒定价值的加密货币，通常与美元等法定货币挂钩，加密货币交易者通常使用稳定币在代币之间转移资金。
华尔街日报援引未具名消息人士的话说，已经讨论过的一种银行财团可能性是，除了清算所和预警服务的共同所有者之外，其他银行也可以使用稳定币。
报导还称，一些地区性银行和社区银行也在考虑是否要成立单独的稳定币财团。
特朗普曾承诺要成为 "加密货币总统"，推动加密货币在美国成为主流。他曾表示，他支持加密货币，因为它可以改善银行系统，增强美元的主导地位。(完)
