Target (TGT) said Wednesday it has set up a multiyear "acceleration office" in a bid to deliver faster progress on its growth roadmap.
Chief Operating Officer Michael Fiddelke will oversee the effort, the retailer said.
Chief Strategy and Growth Officer Christina Hennington will leave Target and move into a strategic adviser role through Sept. 7.
Target also said that Chief Legal and Compliance Officer Amy Tu has departed. Chief Human Resources Officer Melissa Kremer will oversee the function in the near term as the company searches for a replacement, it said.
Target shares were down 3.7% in recent premarket activity.
