数据显示4月英国通胀高于预期，交易员削减对英国央行进一步降息的押注，推动英镑兑美元升至三年高点。

　　自4月初以来，货币市场首次倾向将终端利率定为4%，这意味着今年只会再降息一次，幅度为四分之一个百分点，而不是两次。掉期交易也暗示，8月降息的可能性仅为40%，数据公布前为60%。

　　市场预期英国央行降息将更加谨慎，这提振了英镑，英镑交易价格已接近今年最高水准。英镑一度上涨0.8%，至1.3469美元，创下2022年2月以来的最高水平；且自全球金融危机以来，选择权交易员首次不再长期看跌英镑。

　　周三公布的数据显示，能源、水等价格上涨导致英国4月通胀率从2.6%升至3.5%。英国央行预测为3.4%，经济学家则预期3.3%。 

　　Danske Bank外汇分析师Kirstine Kundby-Nielsen表示，这表明，在滞胀环境下， 英国央行将采取更为谨慎的态度。
