Uniswap Rejects Bancor's Patent Infringement Lawsuit

BlockBeats News, May 21st, According to The Block, Uniswap Labs, the company behind the Uniswap decentralized exchange, has rejected the infringement lawsuit filed by Bancor in the Southern District of New York, calling it an attempt to "grab attention" amid the evolving U.S. crypto and DeFi regulatory landscape.

This Tuesday, Bancor announced a lawsuit against Uniswap Labs and the Uniswap Foundation, alleging that they had infringed on its patented technology. Bancor claims that the Uniswap project has improperly used its "Constant Product Automated Market Maker" (CPAMM) infrastructure over the past eight years.
