Atlantic Lithium (ASX:A11) identified significant lithium-in-soil anomalies from soil sampling completed within the Rubino exploration license in Ivory Coast, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
It also discovered spodumene pegmatite in outcrop and float in the Agboville and Rubino exploration licenses in Ivory Coast after high-grade lithium assays up to 1.25% grade of lithium oxide were returned from rock-chip sampling.
The exploration of the Ivory Coast licenses is planned to run concurrently with the advancement of the Ewoyaa lithium project in Ghana.
Its shares rose 7% on market close.
