Galileo Mining (ASX:GAL) said reverse circulation drilling of around 1,600 meters commenced at its Fraser Range nickel project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The firm said electromagnetic models have been selected for initial drill testing using a drilling rig. Drilling is expected to take around three weeks to complete, with initial assays expected in July.
If reverse circulation drilling cannot effectively test the targets, then diamond core drilling will be used to drill to depth.
