智通财经APP获悉，Barrick Mining公司(B.US)表示，马里要求对其在这个西非国家的黄金业务实施临时管理的请求缺乏法律依据。
这家加拿大矿业公司与马里军政府就规模庞大的卢洛 - 贡科托矿区的收益问题陷入了争端。马里政府已禁止黄金出口，并请求法官批准将相关资产移交给一名临时管理人。首都巴马科的商业法庭原定于上周举行听证会，后推迟至6月2日作出裁决。
Barrick Mining周一称，公司已于上周致信马里经济和财政部长，“重申愿意就达成令人满意的协议条款恢复谈判”，以推动业务重启。该公司自今年1月起暂停了矿区作业，目前的僵局正阻碍总部位于多伦多的Barrick Mining充分利用接近历史纪录的金价获利。
Barrick Mining在周一的一份声明中指出：“试图干预卢洛 - 贡科托矿区运营的做法史无前例，也没有法律依据。这无视了Barrick 依据马里法律以及具有约束力的协议所享有的权利。”
