特朗普支持日本制铁收购美国钢铁公司

当地时间5月23日，美国总统特朗普在其社交媒体平台“真实社交”上发文称，美国钢铁将继续留在美国，并将总部设在匹兹堡。特朗普表示，这将是美国钢铁公司与日本制铁公司之间的一项计划中的合作，将带来7万个就业岗位和140亿美元的经济效益，大部分投资将在接下来的14个月内完成。

特朗普称，将于5月30日在匹兹堡的美国钢铁公司举行集会。

英国《金融时报》称，特朗普基本上支持日本制铁收购美国钢铁公司的交易，这显然与他此前反对这项跨境交易的立场相反。拜登政府此前也以国家安全为由而阻止了这项交易。路透社称，特朗普表示支持日铁收购美国钢铁公司，消息传出后，美国钢铁公司股价周五飙升21%。

投资者认为特朗普此番表态意味着日本制铁公司已获得其对这宗筹划已久的收购案的批准。

5月20日，日媒报道称，日铁方面已向美国政府提出，如果将美钢收为全资子公司的计划能够获批，打算大幅增加对美钢业务的投资。路透社19日报道称，如果美国政府批准对美国钢铁公司的收购，日铁提出的投资额高达140亿美元，其中包括对美国钢铁公司的一家新炼钢厂投资40亿美元。
