0545 GMT - Nordic markets are seen opening higher with IG calling the OMXS30 up 1.5% at around 2517. President Trump's threat of a 50% tariff on EU goods put markets in a renewed state of stress Friday, SEB analysts say in a note. However, stock markets recovered some of the initial fall and the S&P 500 closed 0.7% lower while the Nasdaq ended the session down 1.0%. Following a Sunday phone call between Trump and the EU's Ursula von der Leyen, the proposed tariff has been paused until July 9 to allow further talks. Today, markets are closed in both the U.S. and the U.K. Stock market futures in Europe are pointing clearly higher. OMXS30 closed at2479.56, OMXN40 at 2369.49 and OBX at 1469.35.
