Luxembourg has mandated banks to explore the possibility of an inaugural Digital Treasury Certificate issuance, one of the banks said Tuesday.
The Treasury Certificate would be euro-denominated, registered and settled using distributed ledger technology on the HSBC ORION platform, the same bank said.
Luxembourg plans virtual 1:1 meetings between June 2 and June 13, the same bank said.
The banks hired are BGL BNP Paribas and HSBC.
