HD Hyundai Electric (KRX:267260) secured a contract from Scotland's SP Energy Networks, a subsidiary of electricity generation company Scottish Power, to supply four 400-kilovolt ultra-high voltage transformers, Yonhap News reported Friday.
The transformers will support a substation expansion project in south central Scotland, with delivery scheduled for the second half of 2028, according to the report.
The value of the deal was undisclosed, the report said.
Shares of HD Hyundai Electric rose nearly 1% at market close on Monday.
