韩国电力公司（KEPCO）周二表示，计划到2038年投资72.8万亿韩元（531亿美元），扩大半导体和其他重点行业的供电基础设施，改善国家的电力传输系统。

　　根据该计划，韩国电力公司将在首尔以南约40公里的龙仁市一个设想中的工业集群建设一个变电站，为该地区的企业提供10吉瓦或更多的大规模电力。

　　龙仁半导体园区的目标是成为人工智能（AI）存储芯片等半导体产品的核心生产基地，并容纳三星电子、SK海力士等主要半导体企业的生产设施。工业园区的第一家半导体工厂预计将于2030年开始运营。

　　韩国电力公司还计划建设连接西南地区和首都圈的先进高压直流输电（HVDC）线路，以提高电力管理效率。

　　在远距离点对点传输大量电力时，高压直流输电比普通交流电更经济。在长距离，高压直流输电方案通常比典型的输电线路损耗更低。

　　据韩国电力公司下属研究机构预测，该项目将产生134万亿韩元的经济效益，并创造48万个就业岗位。
