财经事务及库务局局长许正宇继续在加拿大多伦多的访问行程，他于当地时间27日分别会晤宏利金融-S(00945.HK) 总裁兼首席执行官韦宁顿和首席财务官Colin Simpson，以及永明金融的副总裁兼首席财务官Tim Deacon和副总裁兼首席策略人才官Linda Dougherty，游说他们考虑将公司迁册来港，以享受相关的法律和税务便利，也能减低公司为符合两套监管制度而需承担的合规成本。
另外，许正宇亦与安大略省证券事务监察委员会首席执行官Grant Vingoe和一众安大略省证监会代表会晤。香港证监会5月中与安大略省证监会签订谅解备忘录，将加拿大安大略省列入其可接纳监察制度名单，以加强两地证监会的监管合作和信息交流。许正宇和Grant Vingoe均认同，在现今全球形势多变之际，与可信的盟友建立合作关系对维持资本巿场稳健和具韧性至为重要。之后许正宇将转往渥太华与政府财金官员会晤。(ss/da)(港股报价延迟最少十五分钟。)
