Maruha Nichiro's (TYO:1333) board approved a comprehensive business partnership agreement with logistics services firm, Senko Group Holdings (TYO:9069), aimed at boosting corporate value through joint efforts in logistics and other sectors, the seafood and food products company said in a Monday filing on Tokyo bourse.
The collaboration will include shared logistics bases, joint delivery operations, personnel exchange, and development of strategies for international operations.
Outside logistics, the two companies will explore co-development of products and services, including in childcare, nursing care, and fitness.
The financial impact of the collaboration for the year ending March 2026 is yet to be determined, Maruha Nichiro said.
