Angkor Resources Corp.'s subsidiary, EnerCam Resources Co. Ltd. (Cambodia), has deployed a team of top geoscientists alongside seismic contractor GeneSeis Company Limited from Thailand to conduct a seismic survey on Block VIII in Cambodia. The team completed a five-day scoping program to assess proposed seismic lines, covering over 1,340 kilometers to identify low ground areas and potential difficult zones. The project aims to finalize a 350-line kilometer 2-D seismic program, which is anticipated to provide drill targets for oil and gas. The initiative has received positive feedback from local communities and authorities, who are supportive of oil and gas development for its potential to boost employment, economic development, and education. EnerCam has also been involved in community-driven projects, such as clean water and sanitation initiatives, since 2010.
