智通财经APP获悉，汽车股跌幅居前，截至发稿，长城汽车(02333)跌3.47%，报12.24港元；理想汽车-W(02015)跌3%，报110.1港元；北京汽车(01958)跌0.49%，报2.02港元。
消息面上，5月23日，长城汽车董事长魏建军接受媒体采访再提常压油箱、低价竞争等行业乱象，甚至表示汽车产业的“恒大”已经出现。此外，国家发展改革委政策研究室副主任、新闻发言人李超近日在国家发展改革委召开的新闻发布会上谈及“内卷式”竞争影响到行业高质量发展，必须加以整治。
摩根大通此前发布报告称，2025年4月，中国汽车制造商的平均折扣率达到创纪录的16.8%，比3月又提高了0.5个百分点，更比2024年全年的平均折扣率翻了一番。摩根大通认为，在价格战下，中国车企今年的财务状况更加堪忧，尤其是在绝大多数新能源车企尚未盈利的背景下。乘联分会秘书长崔东树则表示，其数据统计方式存在问题，不够准确。
