John Wiley & Sons Inc., a leading global publisher, has announced the expansion of its partnership with the Joint University Librarians Advisory Committee (JULAC) in Hong Kong. This collaboration now includes the Education University of Hong Kong, marking the eighth and final member to join JULAC's Wiley transformational agreement for 2025. The partnership allows researchers from all eight institutions to access Wiley's extensive journal portfolio and publish their work as open access in nearly 2,000 hybrid and gold open access journals. Since the agreement's inception in 2023, it has significantly increased open access publishing, with the consortium's output in Wiley journals growing from 30% in 2022 to over 70% in 2024.
