5月26日，电力股早盘全线走高，截至发稿，中广核电力涨超5%，华能国际、华润电力涨超3%，华电国际涨超2%。
广发证券发布研报称，电力体制改革持续兑现预期，现货市场年底前基本实现全覆盖将重构火电盈利模式，叠加煤价下行与市值管理举措，火电、水电板块有望成为兼具防御性与成长性的优质红利资产。该行指出，当前秦港Q5500动力煤现货价格同比下跌246元/吨至614元/吨，火电企业全年业绩确定性增强。
海通证券此前指出，火电仍是行业最值得看好且分歧最大的板块。火电Q1整体电量跌幅都较大，但度电固定成本却多持平，主因利率下降和其他成本管控力度加大所致。该行认为，25年电力行业将更新四大新特点：1、电价超预期；2、煤价超预期；3、固定成本超预期；4、国企改革和市值管理超预期。
