控制盘柜硬接线是一个耗时长、易出错且成本高昂的过程。Volga开展一项将传统接线方法与全新EtherNet/IP柜内解决方案进行比较的工时研究。结果显示，接线时间缩短了66%，盘柜尺寸减小了36%，重量减轻了32%。与传统硬接线方法相比，新解决方案的铜、电缆和塑料用量更少，同时有助于推动制造商日益关注环保运营。
