Jiangsu Lopal Tech (HKG:2465, SHA:603906), along with two units, acquired a total of 367 million yuan of wealth management products from Bank of China (HKG:3988, SHA:601988) in April and May, a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
Of this, units Jiangsu Kelas Environmental Protection Technology and Sichuan Liyuan New Material invested 100 million yuan and 67 million yuan, respectively, while the company itself invested 200 million yuan in the products.
The investments came about in order for the Chinese automotive specialty chemicals manufacturer and its units to increase income from idle funds.
