OpenAI首席财务官莎拉·弗莱尔（Sarah Friar）周三表示，公司重组计划为未来潜在IPO打开了大门，但任何此类决定都将取决于公开市场情绪以及公司自身准备情况。

　　这家获得微软逾130亿美元投资的人工智能公司去年12月曾计划将其营利部门转型为公益公司（PBC），这种架构旨在平衡股东回报与社会目标，与非营利组织单纯追求公益的性质不同。

　　本月早些时候，这家ChatGPT制造商调整了方案，改为由非营利母公司继续控制PBC并成为其大股东，同时仍允许营利部门筹集更多资金以保持人工智能竞赛优势。

　　“PBC架构让我们具备IPO的可能性．．．当我们决定启动时，”弗莱尔在都柏林科技峰会上表示。她随即调侃道：“在座各位可别发推说莎拉·弗莱尔宣布OpenAI即将上市——我根本没这么说，只是说存在这种可能。”

　　被问及OpenAI启动IPO需要哪些条件时，弗莱尔指出所有拟上市公司都需要两个要素：公司准备就绪和市场环境成熟。

　　“就算你万事俱备来到圣坛前，若市场不接纳，那也只能认栽，”她形象地比喻道，“因此必须打造一家无论公开市场如何波动、IPO窗口是否开启都能持续稳健运营的企业。”

　　弗莱尔补充道，上市公司“必须具备一定程度的可预测性”，“市场虽能容忍部分不确定性——尤其在高速增长阶段．．．但本质上并不乐见这种情况。”
