Stellantis' (STLA) Alfa Romeo is looking to delay the launch of a new version of its Stelvio large SUV as it reevaluates strategy amid slowing demand for electric vehicles, Reuters reported Thursday, citing two sources.
The new model will not begin deliveries until September or October next year, a source reportedly said.
The company earlier planned to unveil the newest Stelvio later this year, and sales were scheduled for Q1 2026, according to the report.
Alfa Romeo is developing a hybrid version of the model that was initially slated to be full-electric, the second source told Reuters.
Stellantis did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
