South Korean food company SPC Samlip (KRX:005610) will discontinue its KBO Bread production following a worker's death in a conveyor belt accident at its Siheung factory, where the product was made, Yonhap News reported Thursday.
The plant has been shut down since the May 19 incident.
The company, under SPC Group, announced the decision after discussions with the Korea Baseball Organization, pledging stronger safety measures to regain public trust, the report said.
