针对美国限制EDA（电子设计自动化）对华出口事件，证券时报记者第一时间向西门子EDA（Siemens EDA）、铿腾电子（Cadence）与新思科技（Synopsys）分别发函求证。5月30日，铿腾电子回应记者，已经就此事上传了公告，并表示暂无更多回应。
铿腾电子于美国时间5月29日上传的公告显示， 5月23日公司接到美国商务部工业与安全局（BIS）通知，当交易方位于中国，出口、再出口或境内转让《商业管制清单》中出口管制分类号（ECCNs）为3D991和3E991的电子设计自动化软件及技术，需事先取得许可。
对此规定，铿腾电子表示，强劲的客户设计活动持续推动全球业务保持强劲势头。鉴于新要求较为复杂，公司正与BIS沟通以获取进一步澄清，同时评估其对业务及财务业绩的影响。
新思科技也发布了类似公告，甚至宣布暂停先前发布的财务指引。
公告显示，新思科技在宣布截至2025年4月30日的第二财季财务业绩后，5月29日公司收到BIS函件，告知其与中国相关的新出口限制措施。新思科技目前正在评估BIS函件对其业务、经营业绩和财务状况的潜在影响。鉴于BIS最新规定，新思科技已暂停对2025财年第三季度及整个2025财年的财务指引。
据新思科技披露， 2024财年来自中国市场的销售额接近10亿美元，约占其总收入的16%；Cadence中国市场的销售额在总收入占比从上年度17%下降到12%。
