Asia Vital Components' (TPE:3017) unit, AVC Optics (Wuhan) secured the board's nod to build its A1 factory and main electrical systems on leased land worth 175.4 million yuan.
The project will be carried out by Shenzhen Chuangxiang Construction, according to a Thursday Taiwan Exchange filing.
The move is in line with the company's business expansion strategy, the electronics company said.
