Som Distilleries and Breweries (NSE:SDBL, BOM:507514) posted an increase in its consolidated profit to 237.3 million Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, against 199.9 million rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share climbed to 1.15 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 1.03 rupees, according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the liquor manufacturer.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 fell to 6.83 billion rupees from 7.39 billion rupees a year earlier.
The company's shares were down nearly 8% in recent trade.
