Uni-Asia's (SGX:CHJ) said M/V Glengyle, a bulk carrier owned by its subsidiary Mable Bulkship, was successfully separated from container ship KMTC Surabaya on May 16, according to a Wednesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
This follows a collision involving M/V Glengyle and the container ship KMTC Surabaya, whilst under
pilotage and approaching Ho Chi Minh Port, Vietnam on April 25.
Uni-Asia said the bulk carrier is moored at the same location on the Long Tau River in a stable condition with all crew members safe.
Meanwhile, operations are underway to safely transfer cargo while oil spillage has been contained through the deployment of skimmers and containment booms, it added.
