智通财经APP获悉，索尼(SONY.US)首席执行官Hiroki Totoki周四表示，分拆金融服务部门将确保该业务拥有自己的融资能力。Totoki表示：“通过此次分拆，索尼(金融集团)将确保自身的融资能力，同时继续使用索尼品牌并与索尼集团合作，这一点意义重大。”
索尼计划将所持略高于80%的索尼金融集团股份以实物股息的形式分配给股东。索尼金融集团旗下拥有银行、保险等业务。据悉，分拆后，索尼将保留金融业务不到20%股份，并继续授权其使用品牌。
这是日本企业首次利用2023年税改政策实施部分分拆，也是二十余年来首例直接上市案例。索尼金融集团将于9月29日上市。
索尼金融集团计划到2027年3月回购总额约1000亿日元的股票。
索尼金融集团的起源可以追溯到上世纪70年代末，当时索尼联合创始人Akio Morita创办了一家面向消费者的人寿保险公司。
近年来，索尼出售了陷入困境的硬件业务，专注于PlayStation游戏等娱乐业务。
去年，索尼超过60%的利润来自娱乐业务。
