Engineers India (NSE:ENGINERSIN, BOM:532178) saw a sharp rise in its consolidated attributable profit to 2.80 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, against 1.16 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share climbed to 4.98 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 2.05 rupees, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the industrial technology, engineering consultancy, and technology licensing company.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 also increased to 10.1 billion rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 8.05 billion rupees year earlier.
The company's shares recommended a final dividend of 2 rupees per share of the face value of 5 rupees for the financial year 2024-25.
The company's shares were up over 6% in recent trade.
