Steve Davis Leaves DOGE -- WSJ

Steve Davis has left his role at the top of DOGE, the White House said Thursday, on the heels of Elon Musk departing to spend more time with his businesses.

Davis had been the a key leader at the Department of Government Efficiency, handling the day to day operations such as hirings and firings, current and former DOGE staffers said.

Davis serves as president of the Boring Company and has long been a right-hand man to Musk.

Davis didn't immediately respond to requests for comment.
