旧金山联储行长Mary Daly表示，货币政策处于可以继续降低通胀的“良好位置”。

　　Daly表示，她不一定预期通胀会在今年达到美联储2%的目标，但她强调官员们在取得进展。她预计，随着劳动力市场放缓但仍保持稳健，通胀率将随时间推移继续走低。

　　美联储决策者今年迄今维持利率不变，他们普遍认为经济不确定性支持他们在利率调整方面保持耐心。

　　“企业仍在观望，当他们观望时，我们也观望，因为对于经济，我们的政策处于良好位置，”Daly表示。“随着经济的发展，我们到时有充足的机会及时做出决定。”

　　Daly表示，劳动力市场处于“稳健状态”。她指出，求职者可能需要稍微长一点时间才能找到工作，但这是确保与2%通胀目标保持一致的可持续就业市场所需的平衡状态。

　　当被问及特朗普施压要求美联储降息时，Daly表示，这并非第一次出现政府要求美联储按照总统偏好采取行动的情况。

　　她称这是“工作的一部分”，并强调美联储将采取正确的行动来实现物价稳定和充分就业的双重使命。
