路透社5月29日 - 富国银行WFC.N周四表示，已签署协议将其铁路设备租赁业务出售给铁路车辆租赁商GATX Corporation GATX.N和Brookfield Infrastructure BIP.N新成立的合资企业。
这家美国银行业巨头表示，这项交易不会对其财务状况或盈利产生重大影响，交易包括价值约 44 亿美元的全部铁路运营租赁资产以及铁路融资租赁组合。
"富国银行商业银行部执行副总裁大卫-马克斯（David Marks）表示："这项交易符合富国银行简化业务、专注于客户核心产品和服务的一贯战略。
GATX 和 Brookfield Infrastructure 在另一份声明中表示，铁路运营租赁组合包括约 105,000 辆轨道车。
此外，Brookfield Infrastructure 还同意收购富国银行的铁路融资租赁组合，包括约 23,000 辆轨道车和约 440 辆机车。
GATX 最初将拥有合资公司 30% 的股份，Brookfield Infrastructure 将拥有 70% 的股份，随着时间的推移，前者可以选择获得全部所有权。
GATX 将拥有商业和运营控制权，并管理合资公司的所有资产。
