1838 ET - Costco reported strong 3Q results, CFRA analyst Arun Sundaram says in a research note, citing the warehouse-club chain's broad-based strength across all regions and accelerating e-commerce sales. The company's top line was also aided by a membership-fee increase that went into effect in September. "Over the long term, we see further operating margin upside from initiatives in private label, data analytics, personalization and retail media," Sundaram writes. The company stands to benefit from continued global expansion: "We see ample room for unit growth, particularly in international markets. China, for example, has only seven clubs today."
